Pale pink winter flower

We think this flower has been really underappreciated until now, because she’s actually a real hero. When it freezes, the plant pulls the moisture from the flowers back to the stem, so that they do not freeze.
The flowers will hang a bit, but will not dry out. When the temperature rises again, the moisture is pumped back and the flowers rise up again.

A fine example of a survival mechanism!
